Pumping with AVENT manual pump (2) PDF Print E-mail
QUESTION:
If I were to use a better electric breast pump, how much time savings am I expected to get?

ANSWER:
It varies. Most women I've talked to take 10 minutes or less with a good electric dual pump, like the Medela PIS or the Ameda Lactaline. Forget the battery-operated ones. On the other hand I've also come across a case where the mother is unable to express with electric pumps.

The electric pumps are not cheap; Since you already like the ISIS, you may want to try dual pumping with 2 ISIS's first.
